This place runs on a simple "we’ve got each other's backs" vibe. You get your own dedicated workstation where you can leave your tools and art out overnight—just make sure everything stays within your footprint.
Selling Your Work (Optional)
Selling what you make here is totally optional, but we love seeing your art find a new home! Quick notes on selling on-site:
- Easy Checkout: All sales go through the studio’s Square system. You set your own prices and keep your inventory updated in your specific category.
- Getting Paid: Payouts are sent via Venmo, typically the next day the sale is recorded.
- Helping Customers: When customers stop by to shop (even if you aren’t selling your own work), every member lends a hand to ring up customers for their fellow artists. It’s a group effort to keep the retail area moving! Honestly there's nothing better than seeing someone walk out the door with a fresh piece of local art! We keep it simple with Square for cards.
The Business Side of Things
- Monthly Rent: Rent is set up through Venmo auto-pay and is due at the start of each month.
- Saying Goodbye: If you need to move on, we require a 60-day written notice. You’ll be responsible for the rent during that 60-day window, even if you choose to head out earlier.

WHERE IS IT LOCATED?
We're right in downtown Tigard, Oregon. In the hub and part of the excitement of Main Street! Our address is 12553 SW Main St, Tigard, OR 97223.
WHEN CAN I MOVE IN?
We are hard at work designing the perfect haven for you to create in. Our grand opening is May 16th, 2026!
WHEN CAN I USE THE STUDIO?
You have 24/7 access to the space! Every member gets their own key, so whether you’re an early bird or a midnight creator, the studio is yours whenever inspiration strikes.
WHAT'S THE MONTHLY RENT?
Join now and get all the perks of a membership at $250 a month. That covers your 24/7 access and your own dedicated spot and storage in the studio!
WHAT ABOUT STUDIO SAFETY?
Since we all share the space, we’re all on the security team. The retail section is closed to the public after 8pm. During the day, if you’re the last one out (or even just grabbing a bite while the studio is empty) be sure to lock up to keep everyone’s gear and art safe while the space is empty!
HOW DO WE HANDLE STUDIO CLEANUP?
Before you head out for the day, just give your workstation a quick sweep and a wipe-down. We keep the common areas and sink clear and ready for the next person to jump in!
CAN I SELL MY ARTWORK ON-SITE?
Absolutely! Selling your work is totally optional, and if you choose to, you’ll manage your own pricing and inventory through our Square system. Card payments go through the studio device, and we also take exact-change cash sales. We’ll Venmo you 100% of your earnings, usually the next day the sale is recorded!
CAN I HOST MY OWN WORKSHOPS?
We’re officially opening the studio to small workshops starting late May 2026! We have dedicated space in the back for up to 10 students. Apply to teach with us here!
- Members: Teach for a discounted hourly rate!
- Guest Instructors: Reach out to host your session for a flat hourly fee.
We will be hosting these temporary workshops until our member workstations are at full capacity, so come share your craft with us while the space is available!
Note: Workshops take place in our shared back area; member workstations remain private and reserved for artist use.
ARE MY MASTERPIECES AND TOOLS INSURED BY THE STUDIO?
THE CRAFT PDX is a shared workspace, and artists assume all responsibility for their personal property. The studio cannot guarantee protection against theft, accidents, or damage to your materials or artwork.
